Ruth listed two lots for us in Washington and did an excellent job of marketing them. Both sold
within a month of one another for very near our asking prices. At that point, we also became
interested in purchasing a home on the Oregon side of the Columbia, and because the lot sales were
tied to a 1031 we had some time frames we needed to work within. Ruth, within days, had identified several properties which fit our wish list. We live in a different part of the state and she did an excellent job of coordinating showings so we were able to maximize the time we had each time we could go on showings. We were especially impressed with her local knowledge of the area and was able to identify and make us aware of many pros and cons we would not have been aware of due to our
limited knowledge of the area. Items which were important to us were climate, access, views, and the condition of the properties. Ruth did an excellent job of helping us make what we consider a very educated decision on our purchase. When the time came to place an offer she very willing to listen to our rational for the offer we put forward and supported our decision. She then fully put forth a very convincing argument and we ended up purchasing for exactly what we offered. We now have a home which exceeds our expectations. Ruth always remained in contact with us throughout the process. She minimized any of the day to day pressures throughout the sale and always kept us informed. We have

Ruth Chausse made a real effort to familiarize herself with our needs and was able to answer
questions about various neighborhoods while we were house hunting. She knew what our budget was, was familiar with the inventory and was able to narrow down our search. She made the loan process understandable and w9s able to streamline the process by making various options available to us. She kept us well informed of the status of our loan every step of the way, so we felt comfortable with the process. She communicated with the sellers, due to a couple of improvements that needed to be made before we were able to buy the house. I moved to the Gorge to find a home and business office near my two daughters and grandkids who live in the area. My business is an international consultancy that doesn't need to be in any specific location. We found the perfect house, a single family home in a commercial zone, but the financing was very tricky because of the unique live-work situation. Ruth gave me the banking lead to solve the financing problem, and worked smoothly and efficiently through all the other barriers as they came up. Her professionalism and responsiveness were top-notch. In spite of major challenges, the house closed within one day of the original date - a testament to her skill, patience, and dedication. She is the best!

We were needing to invest 1031 monies so were under some specific time frames. We also had some fairly specific reinvestment requests. Ruth within days had a number of bare land options as well as rental properties identified and showings scheduled. As we worked through the list she was reporting to us daily with new listings that might be of interest and fit our parameters. Ruth also made suggestions of possible alternatives we might want to consider. When our decision on a property was made Ruth was very diligent looking out for our best interests throughout the negotiations which resulted in the purchase which very closely fit not only our needed but stayed within our budget. Ruth was on constant contact with us throughout the process and continued to follow up even after closing.
